Have your say about the impact from a total smoking ban at hospital sites

On 21st September the Senate Council is convening to discuss the impacts of the newly published ‘Tobacco Control Plan’ and how to best support the delivery of smoking/tobacco prevention.  This is a topic that has been put forward by Public Health England (PHE) who are keen to get the patient and public perspective around the impact of a total smoking ban on hospital sites as well the impact to pregnant smokers and smokers who have mental health issues.

When we visit hospital, either as a patient or as a visitor, many of us have seen people smoking. We all know that smoking is bad for our health.  This quick survey is about our attitudes to smoking and will be used to improve the services that our hospitals offer.
